San Clemente, CA – Aiming to be partnered with the best athletes and teams in any sport, the first weekend of February laid the foundation for a strong 2024.
Kicking things off in Florida, Molecule Athlete Turner “Chico” Brown, capped off a fantastic start to the season by securing the Rotax Winter Trophy championship and securing his place at the prestigious Rotax Grand Finals to represent Team USA. Coming on board as an official Athlete in late 2023, Chico is a rising star who embodies the mantra of “exuding excellence on and off the track.”
2,000 miles the opposite direction, long-time Molecule partner Team GFC, dominated the opening round of the Challenge of the America’s season in Tucson, Arizona. The team was able to capture victories in a staggering six of ten main events they were entered in with no other team capturing more than a single win in the premier west coast winter series.
“It was a solid start to our 2024 race season in Tucson. Over the two days of racing we were able to take victory in every category we entered showing the strength of the product range…while the GFC chassis line made up almost 20% of the total entries,” stated team owner and namesake Gary Carlton.
Ask any professional racer how they got introduced to competing and chances are high the answer will be, “karting.” Karting has always been a unique blend of a highly professional sport in itself while also being able to lay claim to the developmental foundation for young drivers around the world. Having heavy ties to the karting industry from the brand’s inception, Molecule has always been a passionate supporter of the sport and sees the discipline as an invaluable proving ground for their products.
“It’s great to see our karting athletes start the season so successful. It’s no secret that karting is a discipline very near to not only Molecule, but me personally. We take a lot of pride in providing the highest quality products and our long run of successful partnerships in the karting community has been paramount to our continued growth as a company” explained Molecule’s VP of Sales, Kyle Kuntze.
